Skin, sleep and a few everyday traits. It is the part of the report with the most uneven evidence, and that is why each card carries its level: there are associations replicated many times over and others that come from a single study.

Skin
Earwax type and body odor
C/TOne copy of the variant. A single functional copy is enough for earwax to be wet, although underarm odor tends to be milder.
Sensitivity to sun damage
C/CThe MC1R variants associated with red hair and very fair skin increase the risk of sunburn and melanoma. You do not carry them. This does NOT replace dermatologic check-ups, nor does it change the sun-protection recommendation, which is the same for everyone.
Freckles and skin sensitivity
C/TOne copy of the variant. It is associated with freckles, lighter hair, and skin that tans less. It is one of the best-replicated pigmentation associations.
Skin tone
G/AOne copy of the lightening variant. It is common in populations with mixed ancestry.
Hair thickness
A/GOne copy of the variant that increases hair diameter. The same variant influences the shape of the incisors and the density of sweat glands.
Second sun-sensitive skin variant
C/TR160W is another of the MC1R variants associated with red hair, fair skin, and easy sunburn. If the R151C result was also positive, the effects add up.
Nicotine consumption
G/AOne copy of the variant. It has been consistently associated with approximately one more cigarette per day and with more difficulty quitting. It does not increase the likelihood of starting to smoke: it acts on the amount, not on the decision.
Sneezing in bright light
T/COne copy of the variant associated with the photic sneeze reflex. It is a benign and fairly common trait.
Sleep depth
C/TOne copy of the variant that slows the breakdown of adenosine, the molecule that builds up sleep pressure. It is associated with more slow-wave sleep —the deep phase— and with greater sensitivity to caffeine, which acts on the same system.
Pigmentation
A/GIt is the main determinant of eye color and contributes to skin and hair color. A trait with no clinical implication.
Elasticity and skin aging
No evaluableVerified against the chip manifest: this variant is an insertion/deletion (1G/2G) and the array does not measure it. It is reported anyway because it usually appears in commercial skin panels. Sun exposure and smoking weigh far more than any genotype, in any case.
Chronotype: early riser or night owl
A/GOne copy of the variant associated with a preference for later hours. Chronotype depends far more on age, the light you get, and your work schedule than on this gene.
Longevity
APOE — lipid metabolism and neurodegenerative risk
Requires explicit consentAPOE is defined by TWO positions (rs429358 and rs7412) and the chip carries only one: without both, the genotype cannot be assigned, so it is not evaluable with this platform. Verified against the manifest. It is worth stating because APOE appears in almost every commercial longevity panel — and because, even if it could be measured, there is today no proven intervention that modifies the associated Alzheimer's risk.
Variant associated with exceptional longevity
No evaluableVerified against the manifest: this rsID is not among the positions the chip measures. It is the longevity association that has replicated best —it appears more often in centenarians— but it would require a targeted assay. Even so, the individual effect is small: no one can estimate how long a person will live from a genotype.
Baseline inflammatory response
G/CLow-grade chronic inflammation is one of the proposed mechanisms of aging. The evidence linking this genotype with life expectancy is preliminary.
Skin and longevity are the areas where association is most often confused with destiny. None of these variants determines how a person will age or how long they will live: they are small-effect factors within a picture where sun exposure, smoking, physical activity, and chance weigh far more. They are reported as material of interest.
